ASF, an executive department of Ministry of Defence was established in 1976 under the Airports Security Force Act LXXVII of 1975. ASF has been mandated with the task of providing security to all Civil Aviation Airports of Pakistan. Currently ASF is securing 25 operational Airports (12 International and 13 Domestic Airports). ASF ensures security of Aircrafts, Passengers, their luggage, mail along with proper conduct of persons and vehicles within the limits of airports and aerodromes. 489/160
